This Privacy Policy explains how Feerasta ("Feerasta," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you visit our websites, contact us, or use our services, and when we research and reach out to businesses about our services. It also describes the privacy rights available to residents of New York, Texas, Michigan, and Ontario, of California, more broadly across the United States and Canada, and in the European Economic Area and Portugal.
Feerasta is operated by Feerasta Industries LLC, a limited liability company formed in Delaware, United States. Feerasta Industries LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy, and the processor of the data you place in a Feerasta workspace, under the data processing agreement. Registration number and registered address: provided on request to hello@feerasta.ai. The people responsible for this data answer at that address, and every request about your data is handled from it. For matters concerning individuals in the European Economic Area and Portugal, the relevant supervisory authority is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), and an EU/Portugal representative will be appointed if required.

When you contact us, request a demo, book a call, or become a client, we may collect your name, business name, email, phone number, mailing or service address, the content and assets you provide for your website or project, and any information you choose to share with us.
When you visit our website we may automatically collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, through standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics. See Cookies and analytics.
To identify businesses that may benefit from our services, we collect publicly available business information from sources such as Google Maps and business directories, including business name, address, phone number, website (or absence of one), public ratings, and review counts. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for purposes incompatible with those described here without your consent.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function and to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
We honor anti-spam and communications laws including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act, the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Some of our services and some communications you receive are handled by artificial-intelligence systems, including AI voice agents and chat assistants. Where you interact with one of our AI systems, it identifies itself as AI at the start of the interaction and does not pretend to be a human: on the first turn of a call or text the agent says it is AI and names the business it works for, and on text the line repeats on the first reply to a sender every 30 days. Customer-facing conversations on the web widget, SMS, WhatsApp and voice are answered from the business's approved rules through one resolver, with no model call, so a conversation is never sent to a model provider. Where we generate synthetic audio or content, we mark and disclose it where required by law, including Article 50 of the EU AI Act. This applies to any AI agent reachable by individuals in the European Economic Area and Portugal.
We collect publicly available business contact details to offer our services to businesses that may benefit from them. This is business contact information used for business-to-business outreach. If you are a business owner and do not wish to be contacted, or want your business information removed from our records, email hello@feerasta.ai and we will remove you and add you to our do-not-contact list.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to provide services, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes, after which we delete or de-identify it. As a general guide:
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, consistent with the data-security requirements of laws such as New York's SHIELD Act. These include access controls, encryption in transit, server-side encryption of stored secrets and backups, least-privilege practices, and isolated infrastructure. The detail, including what is not yet in place, is on the security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

U.S. privacy rights vary by state. We extend the core rights above, access, correction, deletion, and opt-out of sale or sharing, to all U.S. residents, including those covered by comprehensive privacy laws in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states as they take effect. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
California residents have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA. You may exercise these rights, or designate an authorized agent, by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Under New York's SHIELD Act, we maintain a data-security program with reasonable safeguards to protect the private information of New York residents, and we will notify affected individuals of a qualifying breach as required by law. New York residents may exercise the access, correction, and deletion rights described above.
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents may access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal data, and opt out of the sale of personal data and of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. You may appeal a decision on your request by contacting us; if an appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.
Michigan residents may exercise the access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights described above. We comply with Michigan's identity-theft and data-breach notification requirements and will notify affected Michigan residents of a qualifying security breach as required by law.
For individuals in Canada, including Ontario, we handle personal information in accordance with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect, use, and disclose personal information only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate, with consent where required. You may withdraw consent, and access or correct your information, subject to legal limits, by contacting us. Our commercial electronic messages comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL): we send them on a basis of express or qualifying implied consent, identify ourselves with our name and mailing address, and include a working unsubscribe that we honor within 10 business days. We will report a breach of security safeguards to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and to affected individuals as required, and you may contact that office with concerns.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Portugal, we process your personal data under one or more of these lawful bases: your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and marketing our business to other businesses (balanced against your rights and freedoms), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects. You may lodge a complaint with the CNPD or your local supervisory authority. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA or Portugal, for example to service providers in the United States or Canada, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and appropriate safeguards. We respond to requests within one month.
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under 16 where local law requires (for example, in Portugal). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We operate across Canada, the United States, and Portugal, and our service providers may process information in those countries. Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or Portugal, for example to providers in the United States or Canada, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate safeguards. Where information otherwise crosses borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
